Sandra Cipriani
Manager of Curriculum Development

Throughout her 20-plus year career in education, Sandy has taken on several roles and responsibilities. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Corporate Communications from the College of Charleston and a Master of Education in Reading from the University of West Florida. For 21 years, Sandy taught Spanish and Reading to middle and high school students in private and public schools. In addition to teaching in the classroom, she has fulfilled roles as a peer coaching instructor, a new faculty mentor, a community engagement coordinator, a curriculum writer, and a coach. More recently, Sandy has become a Level One Certified Google Educator and continues to seek opportunities to learn about science and technology in the classroom.

Sandy’s latest gig is managing curriculum development at GetWise. Her self-education continues at home through learning about native plants, building pollinator gardens in her yard, and growing herbs, and vegetables. She also enjoys taking walks with her dogs, Zeus and Calypso, and sitting on the deck with her cat, Lightning.
