Heather Richardson
Program Coordinator

Heather brings over 13 years of experience in sales and marketing in higher education, non-profits, media, and manufacturing. She most recently put her B.A. in Communications from the University of Kansas to the test while coaching both girls and boys diving for two different high schools simultaneously.

Heather comes by her love for education and the environment naturally. Both of her parents were accomplished educators and passed on their passion for learning to Heather. Her father grew up on a small dairy farm the family still owns. The joy of visiting the farm and seeing the impact of positive environmental practices gave Heather all the reasons she needed to join the GetWise team.

Heather is a proud mom to two boys who swim for their respective colleges, UIC and Hawaii. When she and her husband are not traveling to watch the kids’ swim meets, she enjoys water sports, the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her two aging Aussiedoodles, Taz and Zo.
